William “Bill” James Wendelberger

Wendelberger, William James passed away peacefully in the presence of his family, on Sunday October 7, 2018. Born on November 7, 1927. Beloved husband of the late Joan Belle McKeown. Cherished father of Mary Pat, Mark (Liz), Terry, Kitty (Eric) Gaenslen, Kay (Steve) Parker, Jeralyn, and Patrick (Maureen Harkness). Adored grandfather of Joshua (Maren), Jason, Patrick, Rachael (fiancée Chris Powers), Sam, Katie, Daniel, Bailey, Meghan, Samantha, Kevin, Ben, Simone, Adam and Caitie, and great-grandfather of Eleanor and Oliver. Survived by brothers-in-law Patrick McKeown and Michael (Teresa) McKeown and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Preceded in death by his parents Erna and Joseph, brothers Joseph (Betty) and Robert (Marge), sisters Teresa and Mary Ann (Dick) Langkammer and special uncle Robert (Julia) Koenig.

Mass of Resurrection Saturday, October 13, at Our Lady of Good Hope church, 7152 N. 41st St., Milwaukee at 1:30PM. The family will be receiving guests at the church from 11:00AM until the time of mass. Private interment at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the House of Peace in Milwaukee or Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc are appreciated.
