Heartfelt Sympathies

I am heartbroken. I miss you, my darling boy. I'm so glad I took you on your one and only roller coaster ride because you didn't tell me that you weren't supposed to be on a roller coaster!! The time I held and kissed you before your first surgery. The camping trips (Pike Lake..LOL, with Bryan and his mom), house parties (the parties I attended, not the parties you weren't supposed to be hosting while your parents were away). The visits to my house when you just wanted to chill and talk. All the memories will be in my heart forever. I love you, my Alex. Auntie Chrissy

Boy do i wish there was just one word to describe my memories with Alecks. So instead, Ill tell you about all the ways Alecks was good at being my friend. Alecks was a fun-loving, caring-in-his-own-way and brutally honest friend. There were SO MANY times i needed the brutally honest friend that he was to make me laugh at my own mistakes and move on. Then there were the times that i needed a fun-loving friend, there was never a dull moment and we could always find something fun to do. It might not have been the smartest thing to do but it sure was fun. Alecks was a caring friend (in his own way), but i knew i could always talk to him no matter what the problem was, he was just easy to talk to and you would definitely get an honest answer even if you didn't want to hear it. Throughout the entire 14 years Alecks and I were friends, even when life got in the way and we grew apart, you could always come back to visit and Alecks was the same fun-loving, caring-in-his-own-way, brutally honest friend. These pictures are one of my favorite memories. We went to Chili's and i decided to secretly tell the waitress that it was Alecks's birthday (it wasn't), so at the end of our meal they came out singing happy birthday with a cake in front of a very crowded restaurant. I don't think he thought it was a funny as i did but that's the kind of friendship we had. We laughed a lot even if it was at eachothers expense. I'll miss Alecks so much but ill always have memories of growing up and ill always have a story to tell about Alecks. Love you Alecks.
